[Summary]
J&J Medical Korea is recruiting for an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) specialist, located in Seoul, Korea.
The position will have responsibility to ensure the compliance of Johnson &Johnson(J&J) Worldwide EH&S standards, Office safety and applicable local EH&S regulations in office where multiple business sectors work.
 
[Responsibilities]
- Ensure compliance with local EH&S laws and regulations by setting governance process to understand the applicable laws & regulation and propose to local leadership team to take actions to follow.
- Develops and maintains procedures related to EHS&S practices e.g., emergency preparedness and response plan, office EH&S programs, safe fleet, ergonomics, chemical management, contractor safety, permit to works, job safety analysis, etc.
- Identify training needed, conduct the EH&S orientation for new-comer and regularly provide training and other EH&S awareness programs for all employees
- Periodically conduct safety inspections throughout the facilities and improve the non-conformance findings to prevent injury/illness accident or other non-compliance issues
- Solicit with EH&S, safe fleet team to achieve J&J Global/Regional/Campus EH&S target and continuously improve the program
- Timely submit relevant corporate or government reports
- Lead incident investigation and facilitate corrective & preventive actions development and monitor progress
 

[Requirements]
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or occupational safety field
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Certificate of Engineer Industrial Safety(산업안전기사) or Industrial Engineer Industrial Safety(산업안전산업기사) per Korea regulatory requirements
- Appropriate English communication skill, both verbal and writing
Preferred:
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency on risk and impact analysis and assessment.
- Office safety management experience is helpful
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skill working with leaders and employees.
